Anne Fleur Dekker, 23, is a political activist and feminist. In 2017, her article criticizing Thierry Baudet led to threats and police advising her to go into hiding. She now has 20,000 followers and is writing a book about the rise of the alt-right in the Netherlands.
In my photography for this article, I aimed to capture Anne Fleur's strength and determination. Her activism and resilience in the face of hate were central to the images. Through her expressions, I wanted to show her commitment to her cause and her ability to stand firm in challenging times.

The article was published in Vice Netherlands.
